Privacy policy

*What you send, where it goes, when it disappears.*

No accounts, no saved content

You do not create an account. We do not save your recordings, letters, texts or results. When you close the page or press "Clear my data", it is gone.

What happens to your data

1. On your phone. Names, addresses, phone numbers, National Insurance numbers and similar details are found and hidden in your browser. This happens before anything is sent.
2. Your voice. The recording goes to Deepgram, which turns speech into text. It is not kept by us.
3. The text. The hidden-details text goes to Anthropic, which reads it and writes the explanation, translation and letter. It is not kept by us.
4. Your details in the letter. Name, address and numbers that you type into the letter stay in your browser. They never reach our server.

We cannot promise that every detail will be found and hidden. Please check the hidden version before you confirm.

Other companies we use

• Stripe takes payments. We never see your card number. Stripe tells us only that a payment worked.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person and not a bot.
• Upstash (servers in London) keeps simple counters, such as how many letters were made on a given day. No content and nothing about you.

Logs

Our servers keep technical logs (time, page, error codes, a shortened IP address) for 30 days, to find faults and stop abuse. Logs contain no content from your recordings or letters.

Cookies

We set no advertising cookies. We keep a small note in your browser for your language and for the daily limit.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete data we hold about you, object to how we use it, ask us to limit it, and ask for a copy. We keep no content and have no accounts, so there is little to find, but we will check. Write to us at support@ukhelpagent.co.uk. If you are not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version appears here with a new date.
